Lou was the last baby tooth in the mouth.

The other teeth, one by one, took the plunge into the great unknown, each tumbling from the mouth in a silly fashion true to their character. The front teeth loved attention, so they leapt first. The grumpiest tooth, rotten Cary, was pulled by the dentist a few days after Hallowe’en.

Davy surfed down the drain!

Esmé ghosted in Paris!

Farrow fled to the museum!

Too frightened to leave—but also too scared to stay—Lou finally made the decision to leave the mouth once the “boring,” busy, and distracted adult teeth started to crowd him out.

Hand-in-hand, Lou nervously departed for The Great Land of Teeth with his very own tooth fairy—but will he like this strange and exciting new world?
